New version 6.12 has already launched for Hydra II and Piccolo II.
MACRO & RS232 COMMANDS FOR QLISTS [PLAY+]
You can insert a maximum of 10 commands for each QLIST cue, these commands are configured to execute macros and Rs232 commands. To set the execution of a macro or RS232 command from a cue, you must press [PLAY+] key that is associated to the QLIST cue from which to execute. This key must be pressed as many times as commands you need set
SCROLL FUNCTIONS FOR QLIST
Inside the QL window in addition to the functions to advance and go back a cue, from this version we also have the functions of “Go to the beginning” and “Go to the end”. Very useful to initiate the QList, and to continue recording from the last cue
FUNCTION TO DELETE THE TEMPORARY FILES
Is a new function that allows to delete the temporary files of the HHDD of the console. What are temporary files? These files are used every time the console it’s turned off, in which the configuration of monitors, tables, active show, etc. is recorded. They are used at each switching on to retrieve the status of the console. If these files are not found at power up, the console will start with the default settings, the same as when the console was first started.
TASKLIST
It gives you Access to the list of open applications that they depend on the console, but they are independent applications:
- VirtualKeyboard
- Linguist
- Game
- Help
- ShowConvert
- SupervisorApp
You can see the opened applications and close them. It’s just for help and control.
UPDATE OF INTERNAL PROGRAMMING LIBRARIES
HydraII Internal update of software/compilation libraries (5.15.2). New version of updater.exe program used to update consoles. When updating your console to this version, files/folders will also be relocated, to obtain a cleaner and clearer disk. This change does not imply loss of SHOWS, PRINT, FIXTURES, DEVICES, LIBRARY, VIEWS or Translations.
Console: If you have a personal folder with documents, do not forget to make a copy before updating the system.
Wole: From this version, the simulators don’t work under WIN XP Please, install wole in a new folder, we have a new structure and remember, you can recover the previous shows, fixtures, etc… replacing the folders from previous installations.
ABSOLUTE SUBMASTERS WORK ON QLISTS
From this version the Absolute Submasters work on QLIST, affecting to their output levels.
IMPROVEMENTS IN UPDATE PROCERSS (UPDATER)
From this version the software update supports files with copy number control in the name. For example, Updater.exe works the same with the original HYDRAII_612.rar file as it does with the HYDRAII_612(1).rar file that is produced, for example, in a second download of the package.
MANUFACTURER LIST
From this version manufacturer list is updated in the fixtures update process, as well as in the software update.
CHANNELS PATCH
Confirmation messages for actions such as set a default patch, etc, did not accept the mouse click (on message from external monitors)
MASTER/SLAVE MODE
When on the master console you close the QL MDFY table opened for a single cue, the slave console closes this table but leaves the touch tools open.
OK OK BUG
For Hydra II 2ºG consoles, when you did a double click on OK the system crashed.
LINGUIST APP
The external application that the system uses to allow the user to translate any text was having problems shutting down the console if it had not been closed beforehand. The execution mode has been changed and it no longer gives problems.
SHAPE EDITOR
When editing a Shape applied to some fixtures with ORDERS, updating the item table, the system could crash.
QL LevelStop & A/B
The Stop command of a QList fader set as LevelStop or LevelStartStop changed the current cue in scene of the A/B Sequence.
FIXTURES PATCH AND ITS TEST TOOLS
Sometimes when entering the Fixtures Patch, or scrolling thought it with the cursor, the console would crash, due to an error in updating the values for Pan & Tilt in the output test tools of the Patch itself.
