Playback

  • Learn Time function for Effects and Sequence. Manual playback “Time Capture”.
  • Time control (accelerator) for Submasters and Sequences.

  • Effects with multiple ways of playing the same content. It is possible to modify their properties live.
  • Prio and Manual Tracking functions allow us to adjust the priorities and returns of our Playbacks.
  • Event list controlled by SMPTE, internal or external and MTC. Events allow us to play Cues, Effects, Sequences, Macros, Rs232 Commands, etc.

Other functions

  • Macros and Pages to organise and simplify editing and playback processes.
  • Software updates via USB disk or Ethernet connection to PC (downloaded from the Internet, lt-light.com).
  • Windows Off Line Editor, WOLE. Enables data exchange between HYDRA II consoles and any computer. It is possible, for example, to modify, print, rehearse, etc.
  • Direct compatibility of shows between all HYDRA II versions.
  • Compatibility through show conversion between Plus, Space, Sky and Spirit models.

Menus

  • Setup to configure different console modes and responses.
  • Help screens, organised by topic, describe the available commands and actions.
  • Various languages for help and messages.
  • Tests to verify the correct operation of each part of the table.
  • The Printer Menu allows you to set ranges and selections for printing them in a “.txt” file format.
  • The Load Selected function, from the Shows menu, allows the selective recovery of fragments of a Show, by selecting ranges and items to be loaded. It is possible to directly import and export ASCII Light Cue shows.

Channel Patch & Fixtures

  • Channels: Accepts response curves and level limiting for each Dimmer. Includes quick commands for copying, moving, defaulting, etc., both complete lines and address ranges.
  • User editable response curves for Dimmer Channels.
  • Fixtures: The Fixtures Patch includes the XY function to adjust the movement of each fixture to the trackball, according to its physical location, as well as the patch of external dimmers. It allows us to adjust jellies in the colour changes. Allows us to assign external dimmers.
  • Extensive library of fixture definitions, organised by manufacturer and model (can be updated via the Internet, lt-light.com, and can be edited/modified).

Special ports for control and synchronisation

  • 3 external triggers (switches), which can be associated to any key on the desk.
  • Full MIDI integration, both transmitting and receiving. Includes MIDI Patch.
  • DMX input, which allows to capture scenes (modes for Channels and Fixtures), mix to any DMX output and trigger Macros.
  • Configurable serial port (RS232) only for 6000 models. We can write commands and integrate them in our Show. With this, it is possible to manage slides, video, etc.

Ethernet 10/100/1000M

  • Ethernet network to interconnect several Hydra consoles and/or several Wole consoles and establish the necessary privileges to obtain visualisation/monitoring and backup systems.
  • DMX distribution via Ethernet, ArtNet protocol and ACN ready. With 6 or 12 universes depending on models.
  • Connection with display programs such as Capture, ShowDesigner or Wysiwyg. Also with media servers such as Pandoras Box.

The Submasters consist of 1 linear potentiometer and 2 associated and configurable function keys, and 2 status LEDs.
  • The Submasters can also be configured as Level or Speed Controls, acting on any Playback or set of Playbacks on the console.
  • 1 independent Sequence that accepts links, commands, Time Parts and Learn-Time function.
